ஒரு அரசன் நிஜத்தில் கட்டிய கோவிலின் கும்பாபிஷேகத்திற்கு வராத இறைவன் ஒரு ஏழை மனதில் கட்டிய கோவிலின் கும்பாபிஷேகத்திற்கு செல்வதாக கூறும் கதையின் உளவியல் என்ன

விவிலியத்தில் புனித மத்தேயுவின் தொழில் வரி வசூலிப்பது. (கஞ்சா கடத்துவதோ கிரிலை உடைத்து திருடுவதோ அல்ல). அரசு உத்தியோகம் தான். ஆனால் அந்த தொழிலின் நிலையைப்பாருங்கள்
Matthew was a tax-collector, a profession that was despised in Palestine at that time.
Many of them collected as much money as they could in any way that they could in order to become rich very quickly.
Tax-collectors were considered to be so dishonest that they could not testify in courts of law.
When Jesus called Matthew to follow him, he may have been calling Matthew back to his roots, to a knowledge of a better way of life that became better and better for him as he followed Jesus.
The Pharisees disliked the fact that Jesus would eat with anyone, especially tax collectors.
Perhaps the many stories of banquets to which no one came in the book of Matthew reflected the tax collectors’ lives. They were wealthy people who could give large, elaborate dinner parties, but anyone who thought he was respected in the community would refuse to come.
பணம் வேறு, நாணயம் வேறு என்றூ நீண்ட காலமாகவே கட்டமைக்கப்பட்டு, ஏழையாக இருப்பவன் பணம் சம்பாதிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற வேட்கை ”அமுக்கப்பட்டு” ஏழைகள் தான் கடவுளின் குழந்தைகள் என்று மதங்கள் கூட கூறியது ஏன் ??

அன்று கலிலியோவில் வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களை சமுகம் எப்படி பார்த்ததோ, அதன் பின்னர் அரசு ஊழியர்களை எப்படி பார்த்ததோ, இன்று மென்பொருள் நிறுவன ஊழியர்களையும் பாடுபட்டு காசு சம்பாதிக்கும் சுய தொழில் முனைவோரையும் அப்படி தான் பார்க்கிறது
